HArts Club = Hapa + Arts

Posted by saren

HArts is a new group interested in the combination of Hapa identity and the arts which started out on Mixi, and has recently begun having exhibits around Tokyo. Founded by Jamie Belton, a full-time painter and graphic designer, who is a half Japanese and half English. Belton is founding the group to explore hapa issues through all forms of artistic creations. Their most recent exhibition was in the Design Festa in May, but more exhibitions are planned in the future.

Here is a brief write-up from Living in Japan.
